Volunteering at BMPC

Bacchus Marsh Pony Club is run by members and as such we cannot survive without our members, family and friends who volunteer their time to keep everything functioning.

We have lots of opportunities for volunteers including roles at our monthly rallies, helpers at events and lending a hand at working bees/ club maintenance activities.

Monthly Rallies

During our monthly rallies we need volunteers to assist with the following shifts. If you are an adult support member, and have a junior member attending the rally, these are the volunteer groups that we need covered to run a successful day:

 - Arena set-up and pack-up. Involves lifting jump wings and poles.

-Canteen morning/lunch shift. Involves taking orders, food prep and serving customers.

-Canteen afternoon/pack-up. Involves serving customers, cleaning canteen and club rooms.

BMPC Events

Running an event at BMPC is exciting for our members! We get the chance to showcase to the pony club community our brilliant facilities and help Pony Club Vic to thrive.

Prior to event days we will open up our volunteer schedule and you can sign-up online to assist in many areas. These include, but are not limited to, helping with set-up, official duties and canteen.

Ground Maintenance

Our local council has arranged brilliant facilities for our club, however as users of these facilities we are also responsible for maintenance and upkeep.

Our working bees are a great opportunity for members to get involved, and put some time into ensuring that our facilities are always up to scratch. Info on working bees will be updated on the News page in the members section, as and when appropriate.
